As ATHM prepares to permanently close our doors, we are planning no future school programs. However, we are pleased to share that some of our educational programs are being transferred to the North Andover Historical Society.
The North Andover Historical Society expects to offer a limited selection of Home School programs this fall. Details will be available here or on the society website by September 15. Or you may contact Carol Majahad at firstname.lastname@example.org or 978-686-4035.
The American Textile History Museum’s educational programs and exhibitions provide enjoyable opportunities for personal growth and discovery through exposure to information and objects that connect to America’s diverse textile heritage and stimulate creativity and problem-solving skills.
School programs allow students to utilize the Museum’s resources and exhibitions for learning opportunities that complement many curriculum. Textile Arts Classes cover a variety of topics for all ages, ranging from knitting and sewing to printing and dyeing. Scout programs provide opportunities for Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts to earn numerous badges. ATHM also offers birthday parties and mini programs that are easily customized to fit your interests. Learning opportunities are endless at ATHM!
