Welcome to the American Textile History Museum’s online catalogue. The project to make the Museum’s permanent collections accessible on the internet is made possible through generous funding from the Chace Foundation.
Currently available for online searching are the Museum’s coverlet collection (over 290), the spinning wheel collection (over 250), and a selection of other artifacts and library materials.

Objects and their photographs are being added regularly. In the near future, the Museum will make available for viewing thousands of library records from the Museum's Osborne Library.
The long-term goal is to post all of its collections online. The Museum has over 15,500 artifacts including textiles, sample books that contain over 5 million individual samples, costume, pre-industrial tools, industrial era machinery and decorative arts. The Osborne Library collections include over 41,000 books, 47,000 images, 775 manuscript groups, and 565 periodical titles in its collections.
