The Museum welcomes home schoolers to consider scheduling any of our educational programs that complement your home school curriculum. We can adapt most programs to serve smaller groups with an age-range of students. We also have onsite play areas at the Museum to occupy youngsters not participating in a program while their siblings are.
Coloinial Days – Participants experience daily activities of life in 1750s New England in this highly interactive program. Rotate through hands-on stations featuring fiber arts (weaving, embroidery, flax processing, toy-making), crafts, games, and dress-up. Great for small groups, or join others in a larger group. Only available at the Museum for specific dates in the spring and fall.
Traveling Textiles Programs – These programs come to your location, and can easily adapt to various size groups. All have a major hands-on component.
Birthday Parties – Consider holding a birthday party here, and choose an educational mini-program as part of the event.
