Giving

When you donate to the American Textile History Museum, you are giving to something very special. You are supporting the collection and care of rare and unique textiles important to American history. You are supporting the community outreach and hands-on education for thousands of students. And you are supporting the development of innovative, exciting, and relevant exhibitions to educate, entertain, and inspire. Donate today and help us preserve the past and shape the future. You can't survive without textiles, and our museum can't survive without you.

Planning for the Future

The American Textile History Museum (ATHM) was founded through the support of the late Caroline Stevens Rogers. Her gifts were the foundation for what has become an internationally renowned collection of textile industry machinery, documents, products as well as clothing and home textiles. You can be a part of ensuring that ATHM is strong and vibrant for future generations by making a bequest to the Museum in your will, trust, or other estate plans.

Estate gifts support the Museum’s endowment which is the most valuable funding the Museum can receive. Endowments keep giving, year after year; they also keep growing, since only a portion of the income they generate is used annually. By making this important decision, you will be leaving a lasting legacy and you will also be recognized as a member of the Stevens Society.

If you are considering the best way to give to ATHM, we would be happy to work with you and your advisors to fashion a gift to meet your needs. Please call Sally Gould at 978-441-0400 x241 or email her at sgould@athm.org for more information.
