A guided tour of the Museum's core exhibition Textiles in America provides a special opportunity to experience the story of textiles. Knowledgeable guides will lead you through the evolution of cloth-making, from colonial home-spun to high tech manufacturing. As they operate vintage machinery, guides demonstrate the production process.
In the Museum’s new exhibit – Textile Revolution: An Exploration through Space and Time - visitors will explore the fascinating world of textiles in a fun, “hands on” environment where they will spin, weave, recycle, and design their way through textile history and into the future.
Groups of any number may be accommodated and tours can be tailored to your group's special area of interest. For groups interested in touring the exhibit at their own pace, self guided options are available.
Rates include self-guided tours of special exhibitions and guided tours.
Group rates of 10 people or more start at $6.00 per person. Guided tours require a minimum of 10 people at $8.00 per person (or an $80 minimum fee for smaller groups). These admission fees are payable upon arrival.
